Celebrate Shirley's & Judy's Bdae on 23 Jan 09

We pick 23 Jan to celebrate shirley's & judy's birthday. As that is the only day when All are free.. haha.. Lenard had booked a place of 6 @ Waraku for lunch.

*Joke of the day*

~ I have email lenard and gwen my choices for the dishes (set lunch)..... in the end, this is what Lenard ordered.. One set lunch 3 dishes.... All thanks to him, I get to taste all 3 dishes -_-"

This was on the table, it shows you how to make a peacock from the chopstick case.. and I manage to do it! haha.. :)

Lunch @ Crystal Jade

This is the place where I will visit @ least twice a year!

Crystal Jade Hong Kong Cafe (Liang Seah Street) #01-12

Yup, thats the place where the ladies had their lunch on 14 Jan 09 (Wed). Is a pity that I didn't carry my camera along that day, nevertheless, I've took some photos of our yummy foodSs!!

This is their lunch menu.. There are a total of 5 different set. All are yummys yummys wor!

This is our bIll. The waitress will strike off the item whenever the dish is served. Pay attention to my Shredded chicken w salted egg porridge, it is served in a hot stone bowl. It helps to keep the porridge warm.. The porridge taste great & feels fluffy oh!

The following are our side dish..

We had our dessert at Food Junction. I've ordered the Mango Durian Tango -$5.50 and shared it with my sister.. Val order Grass Jelly w Green Bean Ice.. the funny thing was, the aunt asked Val whether she need to add coconut milk anot? Hmm.. thought the aunt should know? Btw, have your ever eaten a dessert that serve lime + coconut milk? haha... To speak the truth, the dessert are below average... :D

Our 1st foOty SpOt

My friends and I went to the K-lunch at cineleisure on 11 Jan 09. Well, the service level had dropped. We had to call for a few times to take our *lunch* orders and to get our *bentos* served at 1pm!!

It is obvious that we did not had a good meal. *xiao wang* haha, suggested Whisk Cafe......
Whisk Cafe is located at Wisma Atria.

However, the *xiao meow & xiao wang* 突然 wanted to eat Wanton mee (Asian fOod).. hence we find our self inside..... Din Tai Fung! :D

Wooo... WE love the prawn w egg fried rice(蝦仁蛋炒飯) & steamed pork dumplings(小籠包)!! They are my favourite food ;P
Oh, the *xiao meow & girlgirl* ate braised beef noodles(紅燒牛肉麵).. forgot to take a photo of it.

Marina Barrage - A place that I would like to go again... it's beautiful

We reached Marina Barrage at around 6pm. The weather was fantastic! We can feel the wind brushing through our hair. We walked up this beautiful sloop path to reach the top of the building. At the top, you will get to see the city view (Singapore flyer), the old blowing centre, pier and many more. Well there is a big piece of greenies (grass land), a great place for YOU & ME to sit back and relax.

I took this picture at around 8pm. The sun is setting and the building starts to light up. Looks Great right!!

Oh well, our tummy starts to grumble, its Dinner Time! We had out dinner at an open concept café/restaurant named 'Just Acia' located at Dhoby Ghaut Exchange.
*Thumbs-Up for the service of the staff*. They were really friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the portion of the food was big. Hmm, no appetite so I ended up sharing ¾ of my food with the Pigs.. :P


I've ordered Spicy Chicken set meal, this chicken soup was ordered by *xiao wang*.
